Tourist Itinerary Platform with AI
Turismo cultural y patrimonio, España
Web platform oriented towards heritage destinations that combines a tourist catalog, interactive maps, cultural events, and local commerce into a single mobile experience. The visitor chooses a city and preferences; the itinerary engine proposes routes optimized by time, distance, and interests. The destination team manages cities, content, and users from a panel, without relying on the provider for every change.
The challenge
Many tourism projects start with a spreadsheet: museums, monuments, schedules, coordinates, accessibility notes. That helps to organize ideas, but not for the visitor or the team that must keep the catalog up to date. A tool was needed to turn that data into useful routes, allow testing with real users, and scale to multiple cities without redoing the project each time.
What we built
- Visitor experience: choose city, available time, and interests (art, history, gastronomy, relaxed or intense pace) and receive a clear itinerary on the mobile, with a map and ordered stops.
- Intelligent engine with human control: AI enriches texts and proposes combinations; the catalog, business rules, and exclusions remain in the hands of the destination team.
- Multi-city management: one platform, different tourist catalogs. Adding a new city without rewriting the application.
- Administration panel: users, cities, logs, verification and password recovery emails, operational configuration editable without touching code.
- Agile public demo: in a single step, a secure URL is published to validate with visitors, press, or institutions before the final launch.
Project results
- Itineraries generated in seconds from hundreds of points of interest per city.
- Multi-destination with the same base: each city maintains its catalog and rules.
- Secure remote access for demos and tests with real users, without exposing internal infrastructure.
- Complete traceability: logs, email auditing, and maintenance from the admin panel.
